I’m pleasantly surprised by this article. Don’t worry, it’s not trying to do any sort of “reverse racism” claim or anything, and makes a point about listening to marginalized perspectives. it instead points out why things like the “Don’t be that guy” anti-date rape campaign work, and how to help spread the intended message of movements (ie why black feminism is necessary).
But honestly it looks like people are already misunderstanding this article, just looking at the title, and using it for their own intents. Which is sad. I really wish more people would actually take the time to read through and understand these sorts of things instead of making assumptions about the point.
